Katherine Méndez is an expert in technology and operations management with more than twenty years of industry experience.
Early in her career, she held several technical positions at Orange Dominicana, a rose through the ranks until being appointed Director of Radio Access Network. During her tenure, she successfully oversaw the deployment of the 3G cellular network, which later earned the company awards for network speed and reliability.
Most recently, she managed the B2C and B2B Customer Technical Operations for Altice Dominicana, where she worked with a team of +50 internal collaborators and 350 dedicated contractors to improve service and quality indicators for fixed network customers.
Under her leadership, the team implemented strategies for field service outsourcing, field operations, digital transformation, service visits, net promoter score (NPS) increase, and program assistance for B2B key accounts.
As a former high school swimming champion and all-time sports enthusiast, she is passionate about instilling a sense of discipline, competitiveness, and eagerness to excel in the teams she leads.
Ms. Mendez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Data Telecommunications from the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo (Intec). She also earned a Master's degree in Marketing and Digital Transformation from INCAE Business School. She lives in Santo Domingo with her husband and two teenage daughters.
